A recent study from Southern Illinois University indicates that at least 25 states host lice populations that don’t respond to common over-the-counter treatments.  However, while lice infestation at your childcare center or school can be really bothersome–all the head-scratching, literally, as the vermin are passed from one child to another.  It makes for a busy time for health staff and parents.  The good news is that there are still treatments available for these resilient lice with a prescription from your doctor.   Read more at US News Health Day.
