Bonnie Reimer – Raffle Winner!
One of the freebies we offered at the Jeff Stoll Public Health & Environment Consulting booth at the Region 8 Head Start Association Conference was a raffle ticket for a 7″ tablet. My kids, Samara and Ailah, had the honors of randomly drawing the winner from the booth pumpkin after the conference. And the winner was…Bonnie Reimer.
She is a Health and Safety Coordinator at Oahe Child Development Center in Pierre, SD. Bonnie has worked with Head Start for 19 years at the Oahe Child Development Center in Pierre, South Dakota. Congratulations, Bonnie! When you get your new tablet, don’t forget to LIKE my Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/jeffstollconsulting/ !
2015 Region 8 Head Start Association Annual Conference Handouts
I was blessed to have the opportunity to present two sessions on disease control and injury prevention at the Region 8 Head Start Association conference. Here are the slides from the two presentations:
10 Things Head Start Providers Will Need to Know!
In my talk on safety and injury prevention I spoke about 10 required training topics that the reauthorized 2014 Child Care and Development Block Grant Act requires. I want to have the opportunity to help Head Start providers keep on top of these important health and safety topics in the coming year. Here are the topics for which I am prepared to provide consultation and training. Call me at 720-376-8591 or email at jeff@jeffstollconsulting.com.
Early Childhood Health and Safety Resources Page
I have begun a resource page on my website for my new friends in the work of early childhood education and Head Start. You can find my Training Menu posted on my new Early Childhood Education Health and Safety Resources Page for a list of specific training programs that I can bring to your center. You will also find other resources that I will add to the page as they are discovered or developed.
